This luxury oceanfront penthouse was designed with a singular vision: to seamlessly blend world-class technology into an uncompromising architectural and interior design. Every system was carefully engineered to disappear into the home while delivering exceptional performance, effortless control, and an uncompromising luxury experience.
A fully integrated automation platform unifies distributed audio and video, Lutron lighting and motorized shading, climate control, enterprise networking, and security through elegant keypads, touchscreens, iPads, smartphones, and handheld remotes. Throughout the residence, James Loudspeaker Small Aperture architectural speakers were installed during construction, providing remarkable high-fidelity performance from nearly invisible 2-inch flush speaker apertures that preserve the clean, minimalist design of each space.
The primary suite showcases one of the home's most distinctive engineering achievements. A Barco projection system is concealed within custom cabinetry behind the bed, projecting onto a Screen Innovations Zero-G motorized screen. To preserve the seamless wood feature wall, Elite Integration Partners designed a custom Future Automation motorized aperture with a grain-matched wood insert, allowing the projector to appear only when needed before disappearing completely into the architecture. The result is a truly cinematic experience without compromising the room's elegant design—demonstrating how exceptional technology can remain virtually invisible until the moment it's called upon.
